The induction heating (hereinafter referred to as IH) system adopted by the Barn Robot is a completely new commercial cooking robot that heats food by generating heat directly in the cooking plate itself, unlike traditional heating methods. There is no need to worry about temperature unevenness or ventilation like with gas, nor is there the need for harsh labor in extreme heat. Since the heat is only transmitted to the pot itself, the ambient temperature does not rise, making for a comfortable working environment even in summer with just a spot cooler. With over 85% high thermal efficiency, it starts up quickly, reducing cooking time and running costs, making it extremely economical. The development of flat plate coils has resolved the issue of uniform heat distribution, which was impossible with conventional IH heating methods, leading to the birth of a fully automated IH grilling machine capable of continuous long-hour operation.
